Birthday cards are a hit

When people in prison apply for a befriender we add their birth date to our list and make sure that they get a birthday card from all of us in the office if the birthday falls before we find them a befriender.  Those cards make a real difference – recently someone told us they hadn’t had a card since they were 14 years old.

We keep in touch through cards and letters.
